What Girlfriends Want on Valentine’s Day

Valentines day is just 1 month away, so I chatted up some of my girlfriends to see what they were hoping for on this lover’s holiday.

What do you all want for Valentine’s Day, ladies? Anything healthy?

CATHY: I’m a traditional gal that loves a man with a great sense of humor.  I’d like a couple funny cards,  flowers and most importantly, chocolate.

I know it’s all commercialized nonsense, but I’m conditioned to expect some show of affection from my husband. It would mean more if he did it one day spontaneously, of course, but that’s never going to happen. So I’ll settle for Valentine’s Day.

JENNY: I would like an incredibly romantic evening.  A candle light dinner and then something fun like ice skating or a chance to sit at a martini bar and talk.

SUSAN: I’ll be spending it with my entire family.  Valentine’s Day is my mother-in-law’s birthday and she is a birthday purest.  It’s gotta be celebrated on that very day.  Our entire group of 15+ family members always goes out to a fancy restaurant.  The real Valentines day for my husband and I doesn’t start until we get back home.

Ladies, we’ve got an entire month until we are all hopefully lavished with love and adoration.
