Crazy fad diets may be one way of losing weight but they are not appropriate for sustainable weight loss. If by starving yourself or eating crazy foods is your idea of how to lose weight at home, better think again.
Weird diets may achieve temporary results but they are by no means the way to keep the weight off. Eating healthy can help to achieve weight loss and sustain a healthy body and body weight. And it doesn’t hurt that your new healthy eating habits will also help you mentally. Feeling good goes a long ways toward looking good.
Dieting may be a good way to lose weight but if you can figure out how to build muscle and lose fat at the same time, you stand a better chance of not only losing the weight but keeping it off. Remember of course that muscle weighs more than fat so the scale will not always give you a complete picture of how you’re doing. Keep that measuring tape handy and watch your clothing become baggier and baggier.
Don’t forget to buy yourself something nice when your ‘fat’ clothing no longer fits. Don’t replace your entire wardrobe however, until you’ve lost all the weight you want to lose.
